Build Ibn al-Jazari’s elephant clock craft video tutorial

The elephant clock was a model of water clock invented by the medieval Islamic engineer Ismail al-Jazari (1136–1206). Its design was detailed in his book, The Book of Knowledge of Ingenious Mechanical Devices. In this fun and interactive workshop kids will learn to use paper to build both static and mechanical structures. At the same time they will study about Ibn al-Jazari’s inventions.
